Plaxico Burress of New York Jets told Sports Radio in Philadelphia that he "wants to play for Eagles. Badly!" Howard Eskin posted the news on his Social Network account, saying he spoke to him at the Super Bowl, and later posted that he thinks that the "Eagles will think about" signing him. Plaxico Burress recently commented on his year with New York Jets to the New York Newspaper, failing to elaborate on any comments and seeming uninterested in staying with them. Though he did wear Saints Jerseys and score eight touchdowns in 2011, three came in one game and his supporting statistics were not exactly stellar. Plaxico Burress’ situation is sure to change this offseason and his value will swing a little bit based on where he plays. But frankly he is no better than a good reserve receiver worth carrying for bye-week use during the 2012 season.
