Down The Tube 09 June 2008

The SecondsOut YouTube channel has proved to be extremely popular, with over a million views in just under 6 weeks. We’re the 11th most popular partner channel in the UK and are storming up the charts all over the world.

Some of our clips have received interesting responses from the YouTubers, but most are good discussions between boxing fans. We’re aiming to add at least a couple of clips a week while we sort our archive out, and have some great content from some of our partners coming through, including the excellent In This Corner with Smitty.

I have to say that some of the fighters taking on the refs should be incarcerated for deliberatly going after the ref and I hope they didn’t fight again.

Now for the SecondsOut Clips Of The Week:

The first one shows how catching your opponent a split second before he’s about to catch you can lead to spectacular consequenses! Watch the momentum of the guy in the yello shorts take him round and on to his face - in the slow motion replays you’ll see that had he not been caught he was only a fraction away from connecting with the guy in the black shorts, which would have probably knocked him out.
