Having just watched Danny Williams in another unbelievable fight, it was an easy one this week to pick a theme - Danny Williams!
Have to say, he’s been in some incredible fights, kncking out Mark Potter with one a dislocated shoulder, his incredible comeback against Tyson, his refusal to give up against Klitschko.
But this latest bought was simply amazing - Danny was rocked at the beginning and looked like he did against his second fight with Audley or his Tyson fight -it looked like a matter of when not if he was going to hit the canvas.
Over the first few rounds he was about 10 rounds down due to the refree’s creative interpretations of the rules, with a mix of his own.
The Danny came back and was about to finish it in the 6th when the promoter seemed to get up from his ringside seat and instruct that the bell be rung to end the round half way through.
A fired up Danny came out in the 7th and made sure of the result by stopping Airich - the only way he could have won the fight.
