here's a post to the "great" calzaghe.

i'll never forget the night you won the "prestigious" wbo title against a faded eubank.

then defended it against the great branko sobot, one of the greatest super middles ever.

how you defended your title against the best challengers; ferrerya, reid, thornberry, and starie.

i'll always remember how defeated the "deserving" challenger mario veit in one round.

who can ever forget the times you defeated jimenez, tocker pudwill, mitchell (only after he just lost) and the great mger mkrtchian!!

i'll never forget when you defended your title against kabary salem (who had just lost to veit who you beat in one round) and then defeated the great veit again!

then you eventually met a fighter who was just like you, jeff lacy.  a fighter who held a title but had beaten absolutely no one.  you owned lacy that night.  you might has well defeated ray robinson that night.  you would have got the same reaction from the "educated" brit fans.

then you really stepped up your game with wins over the contender guys, especially manfredo.  you always fought the best.

then maybe your crowning achievement happened when you beat kessler.  kessler is such an incredible fighter with wins over so many great fighters like.......hold on i'll think of some in a second.

then your win over hopkins was awesome, unless you had to watch it.  next you might be fighting jones and will be favored to win.   if you win the fight, who cares that the only two hall of fame fighters you beat were old enough to be in the hall of fame, (bhop-43, rj-2 months short of 40) you are still the best.  the brits fans say so.

yes joe, you are right when you say pavlik would have no chance against you.  your great record speaks for itself.  (i mean who has pavlik beat, taylor?  who has taylor beat, hopkins?  oh wait, that's your best win, never mind.)

when your career is over i'll think of you in the same breath as hagler, monzon and robinson (and how all of them would have beat the sh!t out of you)

congrats on your great career and for all the great fights!  the brits have to be so proud.

This is what I call "making yourself look ridiculous." Believing this kind of drivel is automatically indicative of living in the fantasyland where facts can change. Is the sky green where you live? Undecided

And i can feel real 'anger' in ur Comment... Did Joe fool around with ur girlfriend? (if u got time for a social life that is, being stuck in front ov your pc thinking these blogs up that is)
Anyway, all youve done is make youself a laughing stock in front ov REAL boxing fans, pundits, writers.

BJE,
why don't you come back and answer these posts.
One little gay poem which you are probably totally stoked with. Yeah calazaghe hasn't fought EVERY great fighter of his generation, but how many of the 'great' americans took a fight with JC. Not many. You know why.
Calzaghe would STIFFEN them thats why. 44-0 and barely a mark on his face.
How dare you doubt his ability. How many of his fights have you seen??
Come on you switcher, come back to us with more boxing 'knowledge'

BJE - almost not worthy of having an opinion you absolute knob ! You are obviously clueless with regard to boxing - suggest you go watch some wrestling (sorry dont mean to insult wrestling fans but this guys opinion is more in tune to fantasy than reality...!)

its people like this that give the americans a bad name. calzaghe can only fight who steps up to the challenge, or mandatory fights.

BJE - joe beat 8  world champions and became a 2 weight world champ. Not many people fancied the job against him during his decade of rule at SM the other two fighters who held version of the belts during most of this time were German.... and they wanted f*ck all to do with him !!

It show what a total jocky you are in your camp little post when you point out he avoided the mighty Pavlik.... and then point out Bhop was no challenge because he was to old....

I can only take from this you dont know these two have fought (after fighting Joe)  and Bhop knocked the sh*t out of him for
12 rounds.....

So what would Joe have done to walk forward at one pace in straight line Pavlik ?

I think Calzaghe took pitty on Pavlik by not fighting him because if he had it would have been an absolute ass slapping and i don't think Pavlik would have ever been the same again (remind you of anyone?) Calzaghe never fought the best at their peaks true, but who's faults that? Calzaghe beat everyone put in front of him, who's faults that.

Calzaghe was and probably always will be the man as far as British boxing goes cos to win multiple world titles and retire undefeated is every fighters dream and in the nicest possible way i hope he never comes back, i'm not saying he couldn't just that he shouldn't. If he wants some advice on what to do in retirment i suggest he does what Marvin Haggler did, move to Italy for 5 years open a restaurant and relax away from the spotlight and the temptation of the celebrity lifestyle in the knowledge he was the best and be happy. Love and luck champ.
Just want to offer my prediction on Froch vs Kessler, i think this is gonna be a great fight, a war. Kessler will start fast and look good early on. Around the 6th Froch will start to catch him up fast, get ontop and grind him down for a stoppage around the 10th in an absolute grueller. I don't think Kessler has been quite the same fighter since Calzaghe beat him, but he is still a formidable fighter at 12st.

WARDSTAR. i can see kessler stopping Carl late rounds. too strong 4 him, but i think Carl will run out of gas in the last third. hope i am wrong but we will find out 2nite ! i say KESSLER BETWEEN 9-12. ENJOY THE WAR.

Kessler Froch was the war i expected, Kessler boxed well and gutted it out, Froch looked ragged but showed his usual heart and dogged determination but the result seemed fair. I still believe Froch will come again but he needs a defence as he can't keep relying on his reflexes as one day they will betray him.

TO BE HONEST I AM SUPRISED AT HOW FAR FROCH HAS COME IN BOXING WITH THAT DEFENCE. RELIES TOO MUCH ON HIS OWN REFLEXES AND DISOWNS ANY SIMPLE DEFENCE. HES A GREAT GUY THOUGH AND ITS NO DISGRACE IN LOSING TO KESSLER. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD BIG GUY! HOPE U GET ANOTHER SHOT!

Carl Froch is a homo and doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as King Joe. Froch has been beaten more than just the once but he gets decisions at home (think dirrell and pascal) and oh how he cried like a camp faggot that he is at the suggestion that he'd have to fight Abraham outside of his Nottingham safe haven.

I hope Joe never fights again as he has nothing to prove. Froch will probably be history after one or two more fights because he will (if fighting outside england) get found out against half decent opposition,

Why has Sergio Martinez been stripped of his (for what its worth) WBO title? Answer:  Martinez was probably stripped cos some European promoter bribed them to let two unknowns fight for it. Governing bodies rent out titles, promoters bribe and control fighters with them like a crack dealer does his junkies. If you think the WBO are corrupt then check out the WBA, they have now listed as featherweight champion 3 fighters, all decent by the way. Super duper long time champ Chris John, regular champ & top prospect Yorkis Gamboa and diet sugar free interim champ is unified super bantam champ Cellestine Caballero, confused? not half as confused as all the WBA featherweight champs are. Sorry for not posting a new message guys but i think i've been blocked from doing so (freedom of speech Lmao)
