Thought about including Carl Froch and Enzo Maccarinelli. But thought more than 5 names would have us all arguing.

I disagree. I think the top ten are as follows - 1 Calzaghe 2 Haye 3 Hatton 4 Witter 5 Khan 6 Woods 7 Froch 8 Maccarenelli 9 Mitchell 10 Johansson. I know some of these seem controversial, but i think Haye belongs on ahead of Hatton for a couple of reasons, the first being that he beat the best and mopped up the titles faster and took on better opponents at the embryonic stage of his career and secondly the old adage - a great boxer always beats a great slugger. Khan is up there and i felt he ties with Woods but before very long he will have leapfrogged him and probably all but Calzaghe and Haye therefore his potential and constant improvement gives him the edge. And Johansson is there because after all the talk of him being a bottle job he went and gave Mitchell the fight of his life and i felt personally he was wining the fight before getting caught with the great shot that accounted for him.

I think Calzaghe goes first if he beats Hopkins, but until then only Hatton has beaten guys recently at different weights, and went 8 rounds with a guy who beat up a 7 footer
If Haye can make some damage in the Heavyweights, I would put him up to 2.
Khan for me hasn't proved anything yet in terms of P4P - not his fault, just the way these things progress. I think once he comes up against some decent opposition we can see how good he really is.
Overall I don't think anyone can be considered in any P4P discussion until they have at least 25 fights - you then should have a decent title and had a few tough fights.

My top 5 would be
1 Joe Calzaghe 2 David Haye 3 Junior Witter 4 Ricky Hatton 5 Amir Khan
*I know Khan hasnt had that many fights, but he has considerable talent and excellent pedigree and would beat anyone in the uk at his weight.
