Hatton-Cotto on Thu 15-Apr-2010:

I never imagined this thread would stay alive so long. I guess Hatton hate is an underestimated fuel! Nice work, gents.

More Pac Fun on Wed 25-Nov-2009:

I was thinking at 108 when Lopez was at the end of his rope. Still unlikely, but possible. Lopez would have killed him most likely at that stage.

Kessler vs. Ward on Wed 18-Nov-2009:

This is another tough one to call. I think Ward can doit, but would favor him more if this fight happened later in the tournament. I just think Kessler's edge in experience (even though he's been taking it lightly lately) and the pressue of fighting at home in his biggest fight on Ward might be too much. Close decision for Kessler.

Hatton-Ndou on Mon 16-Nov-2009:

I thought the draw was fair. Matthew finished stronger, but I thought Lovemor landed the better punches throughout.

Where does this Hatton go from here?

N'dou pretty much stays the same.

More Pac Fun on Mon 16-Nov-2009:

Most people didn't know Pac when he was world champion at 112, but he beat a pretty solid fghter to win that crown. There were a number of other top little men that Pac was actively fighting arond the same time when they were prominent. How would you pick these fights considering Pac at his form current to when he was fighting in these divisions?

Pac-Ricardo Lopez 108

Pac-Yuri Arbachakov 112

Pac-Johnny Tapia 115

Pac- Naseem Hamed 126

I skipped 118 because Pac never really settled there and he fought the best at 122 at the time at some point in his career. The results could have been different though.

Hatton-Cotto on Mon 16-Nov-2009:

Yeah, of course it would have to be at 147. When I wrote the original post, I was referring to how great of a fight I thought it would have been when both campaigned at 140.

1.) Ali
2.) Louis
3.) Holmes
4.) Foreman
5.) Johnson
6.) Lewis
7.) Frazier
8.) Marciano
9.) Tunney
10.) Dempsey

Every time I do this, it looks different from 6-10.

glass jaw-granite chin on Mon 16-Nov-2009:

Oliver McCall certainly needs to be revered for his chin. Marion Wilson, althought a trial horse, had one of the best chins in history.

Roberto Garcia was so talented, but he had a pretty bad chin and just could hold up against the elite. His skill was exceptional though and he's gone on to become a decent trainer.

Yuri Foreman on Mon 16-Nov-2009:

I was impressed with Yuri last night and glad he made for a more exciting fight than we usually see. I have also figured Foreman would be a person fans would sleep on in the division, but think he coul dend up being quite successful if given the chance to fight the bigger names. I can't name one fighter I think would have an easy time with him at 154. That includes PW.

Thoughts about the new champ?

Greatest KO's on Mon 16-Nov-2009:

Good picks so far. Jackson has a few that could be listed.

Personally, I still love Vincent Pettway's KO of Simon Brown as chilling as it was. Youtube it if you haven't seen it in awhile.
