You know something good man ! When Floyd was going up in weight, he went up gradually, from 130lbs. to probably the 175lbs. that he was for Marquez's fight. when he fought Gatti, (may he soul R.I.P.) Gatti didn't go up to 170lbs. and paid a fine for the extra weight. He couldn't, because that was his natural weight, and even if had step into the ring weighing 20 to 30 lbs. over, he didn't had $600.000.00 to pay for the fine. On that fight, Floyd was the better man . Everytime Floyd went up in weight , he didn't fight and won the titles over night. He went step by step up the ladder. Nacho Berinstein should had never let Marquez fight a cruiser weight that night. Floyd should had boxed Roy Jones. De la Hoya didn't fight for almost one and a 1/2yrs., as he was already going down hill, so Floyd fought a nobody. There's no way that Pacquiao's manager is going to let him fight a cruiser wt. Floyd, unless Pac's manager is as greedy and hungry for money as Ignacio "Nacho" Beristein. Any way , that fight can never be, because cruiser wt. Floyd can't make that wt. and this time he's not gonna be allowed to pay the extra wt. or bribe the commission. He should Antonio Tarver next time around.
Max..... Floyd has been avoiding Mosley, Williams and even Margarito for the longest time. He's the best boxer p.p.p., but only if he's allow to come in the ring weighing 170lbs. against light weights like Marquez. Im' sured he'll beat Mosley, Cotto and Pacman, but only if he 's allowed to come into the ring weighing 180lbs. Reason? Floyd don't want to loose the best, pound per pound status. Ego is his most important thing for him and he's willing to pay the extra lbs. for that. If the boxing authorities allows this garbage, then like said before, boxing will keep on going down hill. Shame though !
Horrible ! When I saw this monstrously big man called Floyd Maywheather stepping in to the ring, I just couldn't belief my eyes. He must of weighed 175 lbs., against probably 142lbs. little man, Marquez. This guy Floyd didn't prove no one, that he's the p.per p. boxer they claim he is . He should of had fought a cruiser weight fighter, not a light weight Marquez. Needless to say, that when Marquez fought the Pac man, he was a jr. lightweight , light weight. If I would had been Marquez's manager, I would had walked out of the ring with my boxer. No boxing commission should permit a mis match like that. That's why boxing is going down as a gutter garbage sport. Everything is money greed, and it has become nothing but garbage to watch. I'm still vomitting.
This fight is going to be some what different than when Floyd fought Oscar De la hoya. De la hoya was some what out of rythm and made it a habit of getting weak in the mid to the late rounds. In contrast to J.M.M. who leaves his soul on the canvas every time he fights, and listens to his manager's instructions from the 1st. to the last round. Like I said, is going to be a great fight. 2 - 1 Marquez , but he must neutralize Floyd's jab which might cause to bleed or break his nose and he don't want that to happen. He must force the fight and don't let Floyd jab from the bicycle.
A very interesting event. Floyd, Roy, Whaaat everrr !! Names are pretty much confusing at time, But nevertheless its going to be an interesting fight because that is exactly what Marquez is going to do, force floyd to fight and Marquez knows how to play the game. Yeap! You can ask the Pac man who dropped him 3 times in the 1st round and couldn't beat him .
Back on Marquez' vs. Floyd, I forgot to mention that Hatton never convinced me of being a boxer worthy of a fight against Floyd and I never considered "washed out De la Hoya", a boxer worthy of a match with Floyd. What I'm trying to say is: that Floyd fought a finished boxer when he fought Oscar and a British trojan horse made by the boxing madia, that had experience with mediocre boxers. J.M.M. is a tested boxer with a power that Floyd wishes he can buy. Then again, the only chances he's got against Marquez is, like I said before, the bicycle and the dirty boxing not to mention his motor mouth.
Chris Arreola will beat Klitschko by k.o in the 7th. or before. Klitschko is a washed out boxer that doesn't have what it takes anymore. In contrary to Chris, who has all it takes to become the first legitimate, Latino boxer to ever win that division's crown. Viva la Raza !!
If Mayweather gets off the bike, he won't stand a chance against Juan Ma.. Marquez's punches are heavier and more accurate. All he has to do to win is: stay away from Roy's dirty style of fighting (head bunts, elbowing and low blows) and make him trade punches . Marquez don't get tire too easy, but Roy's boring bicycle style of fighting can take its toll. If J.M.M. follows what I'm saying, he'll win 2-1. If he falls on May W. 's web, he'll loose.
I don't think Cotto is ready for the Pac man. This fight would be disastrous for Cotto. I think Cotto did not looked good in his last fight against the African. He should patched up his quarrels with his uncle and go back to him as his trainer. Without Evangelista, he 's a lost boy in the ring.
