I think bearcat seems to be seeing things as most Americans do, with rose tinted glasses towards their own fighters. There is no doubt that America is the largest boxing market in the world, and the place that boxers have to conquer, but their opinion of their own fighters has always been that of overhype and grandure. For a country with so many fighters and a large population, they have very few world champions compared to other countries. Admittedly they have 1 great fighter, Floyd Mayweather, and lets hope he fights Manny next year to prove who is the P4P best.
bearcat seems to think that by attacking the UK, and Hatton in particular, that he will forget their own woes. What Americans want above all, and to be honest what their history deserves, is a heavyweight world champion. No doubt bearcat will be jealous enough to **** off Englands new World heavyweight champ David Haye. I can hear him now, he hasn't fought anyone, he is over protected, got a glass chin etc........... But he is the HeavyWeight World Champion, and Hatton is a 5 time, 2 weight world Champ. Remember the old adage that golfers use, "there are no pictures on a scorecard", and for those of you who don't understand the meaning, it means it don't matter how you get to where you got to, or how pretty it was, the only thing that matters is that you got there!!
bearcat please develop some sense for christs sake, and stop trying to be provocative for the sake of it, and respect people for what they have achieved and not submit the world what your narrow biggoted mind.
