By Paul Upham: The boxing competition at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India will commence on Tuesday 5 October 2010. The tournament will be televised into Australia on NETWORK TEN, ONE HD and FOXTEL.
NETWORK TEN and ONE HD free to air networks will have live and delayed coverage of boxing events at irregular times Australia wide.
The FOXTEL cable network will have unprecedented extensive live and delayed coverage of all boxing matches over all 16 sessions and 8 days at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium.
FOXTEL’s broadcast of the Delhi 2010 XIX Commonwealth Games will be presented on six dedicated high definition and standard definition FOXTEL channels, not to be confused with FOX SPORTS.
FOXTEL sports subscribers will receive – at no additional cost – all six of the exclusive Delhi 2010 XIX Commonwealth Games channels. There will also be a simultaneous streaming broadcast through www.Foxtel.com.au/delhi2010
FOXTEL customers who do not have the FOXTEL sports package can receive the Commonwealth Games offer by either taking the sports tier (which costs $16 a month) or taking it as a stand alone package for $85.
The FOXTEL studio coverage in Delhi will be anchored by Steve Liebmann, Tiffany Cherry, Tracey Holmes and Adam Peacock.

Australia’s former IBF super featherweight boxing world champion Barry Michael will be part of the international commentary team for the Commonwealth Games boxing tournament.
