Darchinyan Vacates IBF World Title

By Paul Upham: Vic “Raging Bull” Darchinyan 32-2-1-(26), has relinquished his IBF super flyweight world title.

The Australian based boxer’s promoter Gary Shaw revealed the news last week and today IBF Championship Committee chairman Lindsey Tucker, confirmed Darchinyan’s decision.

Darchinyan still holds the WBC and WBA super flyweight world titles.

It now looks like Darchinyan will defend his WBC title against 29 year old Mexican southpaw Tomas Rojas, who has a record of 31-11-1 with 22 knockouts.
