Swedish promoter Anders Holmberg (Pugnus Promotions) turned 40 years old today Saturday October 22. Loads of guests are expected to celebrate the former amateur & Professional heavyweight turned promoter in his hometown Karlstad today.
Former European super middleweight champion and ex-Team Palle fighter, Rudy Markussen headlines another TV2 Fight Night in Herning, Denmark November 20th. Markussen is slated to take on Serbian Dejan Ribac (19-1, 7 KO:s). Markussen was reported saying to Danish media recently that he is fully focused to get back to top level, he has trained well and Ribac is according to him, just another obstacle on the way to be removed. Prepare for a motivated Rudy come November 20th. Also on that show promoted by Sauerland Promotions, up-and-coming Danish middleweight, Patrick Nielsen who will face fairly anonymous Swede, Adnan Salihu (4-0, 2 KOs). Light heavyweight Erik Skoglund who pulled out of a fight in Berlin yesterday (October 22) has also been added to the Herning-show.
