Marc Livitz traces his love for the fight game back to when he was very young. It all started as he sat and listened to his great uncle's tales of boxing during the Second World War for the US Army. Originally from Houston, TX. He's always open to discussing the sweet science with just about anyone and absolutely thinks fight night is the center of the universe. He is an avid reader about the history of the sport and hopes to one day pen a book of his own.

By Marc Livitz: Fans love a great night at the fights. In particular, fans love fighting and lots of it. Manny Pacquiao’s Return

Manny Pacquiao’s Return

By Marc Livitz: The fighting pride of the Philippines has taken the last two bouts of his professional career, both of them losses as but mere bumps in the road of the sweet science. Manny Pacquiao’s June 2012 split decision defeat to Timothy Bradley was widely viewed with universal disdain, although the “Pac Man” took the quite inexplicable scorecards rendered by two thirds of the ringside judges as part of the everyday game of boxing. Floyd Mayweather Jr.: "Give The Best, Receive The Best"

By Marc Livitz: The majority of casual sports fans are easily able to identify certain athletes and at times even their respective team. While boxing is unfortunately still in the far periphery of some and completely off the radar for others, there are still a handful of familiar stars that are easily recognizable. If they are not household names, then they are at least of the water cooler variety. Floyd Mayweather Jr.: "Give The Best, Receive The Best"

By Marc Livitz: The upcoming bout between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez already holds its own respective merits in terms of marketability to the sporting public. There’s enough of a following for Mayweather, Jr. (love it or hate it) as nearly a household name and no need for such a wish upon a star likeness for Alvarez.
