As a child in Kentucky, Chad Edward was fascinated by his grandfathers at the edge of their recliners mimicking punches while two boxers battled on TV. He started training in combat sports in his teens and graduated from university with a degree creative writing. In 2006, Edward expatriated to Prague and began contributing to SecondsOut.com about boxing in that region. Edward also serves as editor to mixed martial arts website Fighters.com and contributes on MMA and boxing to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
