Boxing Attracts Beauty And Saves Lives

By Lovemore Ndou: It is no secret that boxing attracts beautiful women. On a particular fight night anywhere around the world one would think it just rained beautiful women. Beautiful women in all colours come out to watch fights. I cannot tell whether it’s the sweaty, ripped and well-chiselled bodies of fighters that turn these women on and attract them to this sport but the fact remains they love it. Today women however do not attend fight nights just as spectators like they used to, some are in fact part of the boxing world. Women today form part of boxing in many ways, for example, as fighters, managers, trainers, officials and promoters.

The same can be said about boxing gyms. Most boxing gyms today are full of women. Some come into boxing gyms for fitness training, some as fighters honing their fighting skills, and some as boxing and fitness trainers. The last part is where Taylor Christies comes in. For years this beautiful young woman owned and operated ‘Legends Boxing and Fitness’ studio on the Gold Coast, Australia. It is in this studio where she trained sporting superstars, anyone that needed fitness or to cut weight and street kids who felt a need to turn their lives around from a world of crime.

In fact to say Taylor Christies is beautiful is an understatement. This woman is an epitome of beauty. She defines beauty. If I had to define her beauty this is how I would define it: If you looked for the definition of the word ‘beautiful’ in the Macquarie dictionary you could probably find a picture of her next to it. There is something sultry and saucy about her yet pleasing to the soul. Her look emits impishness and forlornness yet she is alluring and illuminating to the soul. Her body is voluptuous yet displaying elements of elegance and class so luxurious and exciting to the senses. She is flirty yet pertaining to vintage and pleasing to a thirsty soul. Doe-eyed yet captivating, charming, endearing, fascinating, scintillating and pleasing to any smitten and infatuated soul. But what really makes this woman beautiful is her good heart, her strong will and personality, and the fact that she gives so much to the community. She is an inspiration to many young kids who have turned their lives around since teaming up with her. She is an inspiration to those she helped lose weight when they were battling with weight problems. She is an inspiration to those boxers she helped fine-tune their boxing skills.

Recently she was a victim of cancer but because of her strong heart, will and the spirit of a fighter she beat the decease. She KO’d cancer. When she was battling this deadly disease she was forced to shut down her boxing and fitness studio on the Gold Coast and moved back to her town of birth, Emerald, to live a more peaceful lifestyle with her family. This coming Saturday Taylor Christies continues with her good work as she opens up another boxing and fitness studio in Emerald. VIP FITNESS STUDIO will be the first ever personal fitness studio in Emerald, a mining town in Queensland, Australia. VIP FITNESS STUDIO is proudly sponsored by LONSDALE London Australia thus is equipped with the best and sophisticated equipment. It is open for boxing, boxing to the beat for women (a cross between dance, aerobics and boxing). The beautiful Taylor Christies who has 19 years experience in the industry will also be providing both one-on-one and group sessions. VIP FITNESS STUDIO is also the exclusive stockist for all LONSDALE training clothing and fitness apparel.

Taylor Christies is a physiotherapist by trade. She has also worked in the past as a talk back radio host, a TV presenter, model and boxing ambassador.

“When I was initial diagnosed with cancer I thought it was time for me to move on to other things and forget about boxing and fitness training. However after a while I realised that the biggest reason I beat cancer was because of my healthy lifestyle. The doctors told me if I wasn’t as fit and healthy as I was I probably would have not beaten this deadly disease. Boxing and fitness saved my life and as a result I feel the need to continue to help others with their fitness”, Taylor Christies said.

If you are based in Emerald you can visit the VIP FITNESS STUDIO at 4-6 Brief Street.
