Did Alan Minter use the wrong strategy against Marvin Hagler?

Please offer theories on how Minter could have defeated Hagler,

Hagler wouldn't have beaten Alan even if those thugs had been in the ring with him.

Nothing Minter could have done. Hagler is one of the top three Middleweights of all time, Minter nowhere near top twenty.

Coincidentally, Alan Minter drunkenly stumbled onto me back in 91 at the Latchmere Leisure Centre during a Duke MacKenzie fight.

minter would not of been able to beat hagler,even if hagler had one hand tied behind his back,minter was overrated that really did not have the size nor the strength to be anything more than an average fighter
