Performance enhancing drugs is a major issue in all sports, but in boxing where athletes put their lives on the line every time they step into the ring, it is particularly important. Smitty spoke with Dr. Goodman, who was a longtime ringside physician for the Nevada State Athletic Commission but is now the president of the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association
The goal of VADA is to not only provide a comprehensive testing program but also, to educate fighters and the fight community on the risks of what they are putting in their bodies.
