The 10 round non title bout promoted by Yvon Michel also features Ontario’s unbeaten prospect Logan McGuiness, who faces the vastly more experienced Pedro Navarrete from Mexico, who boasts a 24-6-3-(13) record.
McGuiness, 9-0-(4), is considered by many to be one of the hottest prospects in Canada, which is why promoter Yvon Michel is happy to take a calculated risk against such an experienced foe such as Navarrete.
Another undefeated fighter on the card, welterweight Kevin Bizier, also faces Mexican opposition. The 25 year-old faces Noel Cortez, 17-16-(12), in his first eight rounder.
Other bouts on the undercard feature local fighter Nicholson Poulard, 13-3-(6), against Canadian champion Larry Sharpe in a super-middleweight bout over eight rounds, Sylvera Louis makes his pro debut against Taffo Asongwed at lightweight and welterweight Samuel Vargas is matched with Pascal Leonard.
