Five time world champion Jorge Arce has promised to continue Mexico’s winning run against Filipino boxers when he faces pound for pound top 10 boxer Nonito Donaire at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Saturday night.

Last Saturday night in Ls Vegas Arce’s fellow Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez impressively ko’d Manny Pacquiao and Arce hope to do the same to Donaire when they clash for the WBO super-bantamweight title Saturday night.

Speaking at the traditional pre fight press conference Arce, 61-6-2-(46). Said: “What happened last week in Las Vegas with Pacquiao and Marquez is going to happen again. A new surprise.”

It may be cold in Houston this time of year but world champion Donaire has promised to warm things up very quickly. “I guarantee that on Saturday it will be hot in here…again the rivalry (between the Philippines and Mexico) but I think it’s just me and Arce getting in there as a fighter, as a warrior, and it’s going to be incredible!”, said Donare.
