“This bout will have KO and it is going to be mine over him” said WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez, who is currently training hard in the Gym for his upcoming bout against Daniel Ponce de Leon next September 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jhonny said that he will begin to spar this week against southpaw boxers to get used to the style of Ponce de Leon.
When asked about his rival, Jhonny said that he is aware of how a good fighter Ponce de Leon is, “He’s dangerous, has a very strong punch a stout heart, but I will be the one who will win the bout”.
The Featherweight champion said that he is excited for this bout because a lot people have been talking about it.
Gonzalez said that he’s training to be victorious and plans to fight another bout before the year ends.
Gonzalez has a professional record of 52-7, 45 KO’s while challenger Ponce de Leon 43-4, 35 KO’s.
