David Haye insists Tyson Fury will ‘come seriously unstuck’ when the pair clash in an all British heavyweight clash in Manchester on September 28.
The 32 year-old Londoner will start favorite against the unbeaten young pretender but Haye says whilst Fury will come to fight experience will ultimately be his downfall
“It’s going to be experience that will make the difference,” Haye told Talk Sport’s Weekend Sports Breakfast show.
“Fury has never had a fight at my level and he’s going to come seriously unstuck pretty quickly.
“I’m here to prove I’m the best at what I do. This guy’s never been knocked out before, so it’s my job to make sure he’s flat on his back.”
“He has been screaming and shouting about wanting this opportunity to fight me and knock me out for a while now,” he added.
“So I’ve given him that opportunity and it’s a fight fans want to see.
“Everyone has been begging to see him get sparked out, he’s seemed to get under everyone’s skin. But he’ll come to fight too, it’s the biggest fight of his life and he’ll be in good shape.
“He’s a warrior. He gets knocked down and gets back up, so it’ll be a good fight and I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s got.”
