In This Corner’s James ‘Smitty’ Smith spoke openly and honestly to former two weight world champion Johnny Tapia and his wife Theresa about his tragic and sad early life as well as the incredibly successful boxing career.
It has been a long painful and lonely road at times for the five time world champion but tragically, on Sunday evening that long road came to an abrupt end when Tapia was found dead at his home Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Smith spoke openly to Johnny about the tragedy in his life and Theresa tells Smith about how she turned her apartment into a prison in a bid to keep Tapia isolated and make him go cold Turkey.
