Rocco Decisions Daws To Claim European Crown


Michele Di Rocco (35-1-1, 15 KOs) won a clear 12 round points decision over Lenny Daws (25-3-2, 10 KOs) of London, England in Puglia, Italy on Saturday to claim the vacant European light welterweight title.

 

At the end of 12 rounds all three judges made the 31 year-old Italian the winner by scores of 115-113 twice and 116-112. .

 

In a clash for the vacant European super middleweight title Mouhamed Ali Ndiaye (23-1-1, 13 KOs) and Christhopher Rebrasse (20-2-3, 5 KOs) ended in a controversial 12 round draw that seemed to favour the home boxer. The scores were 115-114 for Ndiaye, 118-111 for Rebrasse and 114-114.
