Duddy remains unbeaten, recuperating in Derry
World middleweight contender “Ireland’s” John Duddy (24-0, 17KOs) remained unbeaten with a 10-round decision against Walid Smichet (17-4-1, 13 KOs) on February 23 at Madison Square Garden. Duddy, who is recovering back home in Duddy, was cut over and under his eyes and it took 32 stitches to close his wounds.
