For those of you that are left starring blankly at the odds being none the wiser here is a brief explanation of what all that -100 and +230 actually means to the man in the street.
Whenever you see a + that is the underdog Whenever you see a - that is the favorite
-1000 means for every $1000.00 you bet, you win $100.00+800 means if you bet $100.00 you win $800.00
-120 means for every $120.00 you bet, you win $100.00+120 means if you bet $100.00 you win $120.00
-280 means for every $280.00 you bet, you win $100.00+280 means if you bet $100.00 you win $280.00
If you want to bet online, be prepared, the first time you place a bet it will take you 15 minutes or more.
You must have a credit card and the first time you bet you must set up an account. From then on it is a 30 second affair and you can bet thereafter in minutes.
Betting on line is great, it's very easy to do ,perhaps to easy:-) and if you live in an area where you can't visit a betting shop or simply can't be bothered to queue in one then betting on line is the best deal.They also offer great rates.
One quick note, always pay the tax upfront, it's very painful if you win and have to pay out all that tax.
