The fight will be twelve (12) rounds.
There will be a weigh-in and physical.
There is no three (3) knockdown rule; it will be the referee's discretion when to stop the fight.
There is no standing eight (8) count.
The bell:
WBC: only saves you in the last round.
IBF/USBA: cannot save you in any round.
Gloves
WBC: 8 oz. Reyes.
IBF/USBA: 10 oz. Reyes.
Low Blows
WBC: A fighter who is hit with a low blow must continue after an amount of time or he will lose the fight
IBF/USBA: A fighter who is hit with a low blow must continue after a maximum of five (5) minutes or he will lose the fight.
Intentional Fouls
If the fighter who was fouled cannot continue, the offender will lose the fight by a disqualification.
WBC: If the bout is stopped in later rounds by the same cut enlarged by clean blows the winner will be the boxer who is ahead on the scorecards when the bout was stopped.
IBF/USBA: If the fighter who was fouled continues and later the fight is stopped because of the same injury, and the injured fighter is ahead on points, he will be the winner by technical decision; if he is even or behind on the scorecards, the decision will be a technical draw. WBC: Two (2) point deduction for intentional foul.
Accidental Fouls
Only the referee can determine whether a foul was committed.
WBC: If a fighter cannot continue, then the fighter who was ahead on points will be the winner, provided the bell has sounded ending the fourth round.
IBF/USBA: If a fighter is accidentally fouled and the fight cannot continue or if the fighter does continue and subsequently that cut becomes severe enough to stop the fight, then the fighter who is ahead on points will be the winner if the sixth round has ended. If the sixth round has been completed, the winner will be determined by going to the scorecards. Only rounds completed will be scored.
WBC: If the fight does not continue and the cut worsens in a later round from legal blows and the fight is then stopped, the winner will be the boxer who is ahead on points at the time the bout is stopped. The round in which the bout is stopped will be scored.
Only the referee can stop the fight.
An anti-doping test will be given after the fight. Go directly to your dressing room and only drink water until a specimen has been collected by the ringside physician and/or commission inspector.
If the mouthpiece comes out of the fighter's mouth during a round, it will be put back in as soon as the referee decides there is a lull in the action.
Four (4) assistants (seconds) will be allowed in the corner.
