Adonis Stevenson reportedly wants assurance from the International Boxing Federation that he will fight their title.
It looks increasingly likely that Froch will rematch WBA champ Mikkel Kessler in his second title defence in March and mandatory challenger Stevenson is happy for this fight to happen as long as he gets an assurance from the IBF that he will fight the winner.
The 36 year-old Canadian based boxer has fought his way into the No.1 spot and is understandably keen to retain his mandatory status.
