WBC light middleweight Champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez has began training for his next fight, possibly at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 4.

The opponent is yet to be named

The undefeated Mexican was up early morning to jog in the Forest along with his manager Chepo Reynoso and trainer Eddy Reynoso. In the evening he visited the gym to do some light training.

“It feels good to be back in training” Canelo said. He successfully defended his title recently against Josesito Lopez.

“Today is the first day of a long training program. We won’t stop until the day of the fight in May” Eddy Reynoso said.
