Arum’s Son Found Dead

Jerry Glick reporting: Reports say that the air search has discovered the body of John Arum, son of Top Rank’s Bob Arum, apparently dead from a fall as he was attempting to climb a peak in the Cascade Mountains in Washington.

The experienced mountaineer was trying to climb all 100 summits in the mountain range. He had climbed 82 previously and was trying for number 83 when tragedy struck. He was climbing alone and was supposed to be back last Sunday. He wife, Susan, alarmed that she had not heard from him, called the National Park Service, then, on Monday she notified Bob Arum.
