At lightweight Andy Vences improved to, 7-0-(3), when Dominic Coca failed to come out for the fourth round claiming a hand injury.

Diego De La Hoya, 3-0-(3), scored a first round stoppage win over Sergio Najera. De La Hoya decked Najera with a left hook before the fight was stopped after 2:14.
