Canelo Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions have agreed a partnership to stage 17 boxing shows throughout 2013,
The shows are scheduled to be broadcast on Mexican TV network Televisa and Fox Deportes.
“It’s been less than three years since we created CP and we exceeded every goal that we had set for us, we are going in the right direction and we are looking forward to a bright future”. Said Edison Reynoso, the CEO of Canelo Promotions.
Golden Boy and Canelo stage their first show on February 2 when female world Campion Yazmín “Rusita” Rivas, faces the undefeated Andres Gutierrez.
Canelo, the undefeated WBC light middleweight champion, is scheduled to fight in May and September, both in Las Vegas.
