It’s one hundred percent focus with zero distractions for Team Canelo, who is on a dedicated mission to dethrone pound for pound pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.
After three weeks of hard slog on the roof of California, at Big Bear, Team Canelo is slap bang on schedule for the fight against Mayweather on September 14th in Las Vegas.
“We’re very optimistic! The team is happy with the work done here. Everything’s is going as planned, ” stated Jose Chepo Reynoso, Canelo’s trainer.
According to Reynoso, the train camp was necessary because it’s helped Saul to work in total peace.
“This training has been great. It’s helped Saul and the rest of the team to work without any distractions. Being up in the mountains will help him be perfectly focused on the fight.
"There’s enough time for Saul to complete a great training camp sharpening his speed and reinforcing his strength. He will get to the fight in the very best shape of his career!”
