On June 21 WBC cruiserweight champion Krysztof Wlodarczyk (47-23, 3 KOs) will travel to Moscow where he will face local favourite Rakhim Chakhkiev (16-012 KOs).
At only two weeks into training the challenger is in great shape and ready to dethrone Krystof.
“Since I won the Olympic gold medal in Beijing my only dream is to be a world champion "said Chakhiev.
"It has taken five years to achieve this title shot but I’m happy that my dream will be a reality next June 21 ... Wlodarczyk is a great champion but he has never been measured to someone like me with my power and quality”
Wlodarczyk won the WBC title on May 2010 and has successfully defended it four times.
