British heavyweight Dereck Chisora has admitted that he is ‘Embarrassed’ by his unscheduled brawl with David Haye in Munich, Germany last month.
The 28-year-old, brawled with fellow Briton Haye at the post fight press conference after being defeated by Vitali Klitschko for the WBC heavyweight crown. Chisora also slapped Vitali at the weigh in and spat in the face of younger brother Wladimir Klitschko on fight night.
A few weeks on Chisora has had time reflect on his behaviour and deeply regrets his actions.
I was shouting(at Haye), ’I am going to shoot you’, but I would never do that, Chisora told the Independent On Sunday . “I don’t have a gun, I’ve never owned one and never will. It was just a stupid remark
"Obviously I regret everything I did and said
"My behaviour was inexcusable, but there were many things that went on behind the scenes that people don’t know about,
Chisora added: "When I look back on it all now I am really embarrassed."
Explaining his version of events on the night Chisora said: "David Haye tried to hijack my press conference, shouting at the Klitschkos.

"I walked over to him and the next thing I know he punched me with a glass bottle in his hand. I tripped and fell and dragged Haye with me.
