Defeat Is Not An Option For Khan

Khan is in the last chance saloon
Khan is in the last chance saloon

After back to back defeats against Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia, Amir Khan knows he cannot afford to slip up against the unbeaten Carlos Molina at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night.

Anything other than victory for the 26 year-old from Bolton, England, will almost certainly end his career at the top level and he knows it?

Speaking to Sky Sports Khan said: "My opponent will be confident, he is coming in off a win, I’m coming in off a defeat. He will be up for this fight. He might think I’m low and it is a good time to fight me, but I am in great shape and am ready and hungry for the win.

"I can’t make any more mistakes, this is the last chance. I have to put everything together.

"It seems the jigsaw is complete now, I’ve got a new trainer, the camp has been great and I am calm. I am ready to get that win now."
