Former world heavyweight title challenger Larry Donald fights again at the Northern Kentucky Convention Centre in Covington, KY against Jason Gavern on February 9.
Donald, 42-5-(24), has not fought since dropping a 12 round decision to now WBA champion Alexander Povekin in 2007. Asked why he was returning after such a long lay off Donald said: “I’m in great condition. I never lost it and I’m giving all these heavyweights hell in sparring. I never lost the passion for competition.”
The event is being co promoted by Donald’s trainer Dione Walker and Next Level Boxing.
