Ellett and Lewis Added To Camden Fight Card

A clash of unbeaten prospects has been added to the Hellraiser Boxing ‘Quest For Honour and Glory’ card being at the Camden Centre in London on Friday(June 5).

Lloyd Ellett and Sean Lewis square up in a promising light-middleweight scrap.

Between them, they have won all 13 fights and have barely dropped a round.

Promoter of the show Mickey Helliet said: "This is just the type of 50-50 fight I love putting on my shows. The fans will see two prospects giving their all."

Ellett will have new trainer Alan Smith in his corner for the biggest fight of his professional career.

He has switched camps after Paul Newman retired and has been making the trip from his Brighton home to Bromley three times every week.

Smith has previously taken both Gary Woolcombe and Sam Webb to the British light-middleweight championship and that is Ellett’s target after he decided to leave the welterweight division behind.

Helliet hopes to land Ellett a title shot if he wins on Friday night and Lewis will have title ambitions of his own. The 24 year-old from Birkenhead has chalked up four straight wins.

In the top-of-the-bill fight, Ahmet Patterson will meet Phil Gill for the vacant Southern Area welterweight title and unbeaten middleweight hope Elliott Matthews gets the chance to put the record straight.

Matthews had to settle for a technical draw against Raimonds Sneidze in March after an accidental clash of leads left him cut.

Southern Area light-heavyweight champion Leon Senior is also matched on the show, along with highly rated Dean Byrne and Johnny Garton, Marley Churcher and Tony Milch.
