Danny García is readying to defend his WBC and WBA light welterweight titles against Mauricio Herrera at the Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum in Bayamón, Puerto Rico this Saturday.
García (27-0, 16 KO’s) is training in his own DSG Gym under the supervision of his father and Coach Angel Garcia.
“This is a very important fight. Herrera is a very dangerous rival. But I feel good as I’ve been training hard” Garcia said.
Mauricio Herrera (20-3 , 7 KOs) is a very solid fighter who has a good record.
Garcia also stressed: “I wasn’t born in Puerto Rico, but I considered myself Puerto Rican in my heart and my dream is to fight here.”
