Bitter rivals Danny Garcia and Zab Judah made weight ahead of their world light welterweight title fight in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday night
Like Thursday’s press conference, Garcia and Judah were kept far apart and did not appear on the stage together. Friday, at Barclays Center, Garcia weighed in first and tipped the scale at 139.8 pounds. A few minutes later Judah weighed in at 140. Judah, wearing only underwear and socks, was initially a few ounces over but he removed the socks and hit the division-limit.
Both Quillin and Guerrero came in heavy on their first attempts. Quillin was 1½ pounds over the 160-pound limit, Guerrero weighed 160.4. An hour later they both returned to the scale and weighed 160.
