Guerrero On Mayweather Jr: ‘He Got on His Bike’

Following his clear points defeat against pound for pound king and WBC welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr at the MGM Grand In Las Vegas on Saturday, challenger Robert Guererro accused the champ of being a little gun shy.

Speaking to the media afterwards Guererro said:“We ran some miles, I know that. He felt the power and jumped on his bike, that’s what happened. Anytime I got close to him, he was out quick.”

However, although Guerrero accused Mayweather of running all night he did give the champ some credit for his performance. “He came to fight and did his thing,” added Guerrero. “I take my hat off to him.”

Although he was soundly beaten he did stress that he would like to have a second crack at Mayweather Jr

“I want to do it again and get back into that position,” Guerrero said. “He has five more fights.”
