Unbeaten Kazuto Ioka, Japan, claimed the vacant WBA light-flyweight crown by scoring a sixth round tko win over Mexican Jose Rodriguez in Osaka, Japan on Monday.
Ioka decked Rodriguez three times, once in the first round and twice more in the fatal sixth before the fight was stopped after 2.50
On the undercard Japanese Ryo Miyazaki claimed the WBA minimumweight title after earning a split decision win over Pornsawan Porpramook by scores of 116-111, 116-112 and 113-114.
