Jason Plans To Have A Ball On Channel 5

Doncaster’s Jason Ball believes boxing fans will be in for a treat on Saturday night (Feb 18.) when he takes on Middleweight Chris Eubank Jr at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham.

“I can see the fight being fast paced which will make great viewing for the fans,” said Jason

“I know he has got a lot of skill in the ring and has trained with some good boxers and I’ve read that his dad has shown him things in the gym like foot movement and punches that he would throw, so this would be a tough fight for anyone to take on, but I accepted the fight as I’m always looking to push myself and winning this fight would be a great achievement to boost me up in the boxing world.

“Plus the opportunity to fight on Channel 5 will allow my family and friends who are unable to make it on the night to watch the fight and it will also allow me to showcase my skills to a wider audience and build up a larger fan base.” Added Ball.

Also featuring on the card will be former British Light Welterweight champion Lenny Daws of Morden, who will be fighting Chris Truman from Birmingham, local fighter Karl Bell, Leigh Wood from Nottingham, Jason Cunningham from Doncaster and Leo D’Erlanger from Sheffield.

The Eubank Jr vs. Ball fight will be shown exclusively on Channel 5 from 9.55pm.

Tickets for Eubank Jr vs. Ball and the WBC International Super Bantamweight title fight between Kid Galahad and Jason Booth at the Magna Centre on Feb 18 are priced at £30.00, £50.00 and £75, and can be purchased from Ticketline on 0844 888 4402, Ticketmaster on 0844 888 9991, Livenation on 0114 256 5567, HMV on 0843 221 0100 or from the Hennessy Sports Box office on 01925 755 222.
