WBC light flyweight champ Gilberto Keb Baas, 35-20-4-(22), retained his title at the Poliforum Zamna in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico on Saturday night with a ninth round tko win over Jose Antonio Aguirre, 35-10-1-(21).
Aguirre failed to come out of his corner for the ninth round.
Keb Baas was always in control of the fight against the battle scarred Aguirre and may now face off against Adrian Hernandez in a title elimination bout.
