Klimov Upsets Molina Jr In Washington


Lightweight Andrey Klimov improved his unbeaten record to, 16-0-(8), when he scored an upset 10 round majority decision win over John Molina Jr. ,25-3-(20), at the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, Washington on Friday.

 

Molina, a former world title challenger, took the fight to Kilimov and landed the harder shots but Kilimov attracted the attention of two of the judges by scores of 97-93 and 96-94 while the third official made the fight even at 95-95.

 

In a Super Middleweight bout Farah Ennis won a close 10 round decision over Tony Hanshaw. The scores were 95-94 and 96-93,twice. Ennis decked Hanshaw in the 10th round to decide the fight.

 

At lightweight Ray Lampkin Jr outpointed Joaquin Chavez over four rounds by a score of 40-36 across on all three judges cards.
