Lewis Dickinson Vs Stafford LIVE on Loaded Tv

Some of the North East’s best young fighting talent will take to the ring this Friday (April 19) on the undercard of Jon-Lewis Dickinson’s British cruiserweight title defence against Southport’s Mike Stafford in Sunderland.

The British Cruiserweight title fight will be broadcast LIVE on Loaded Tv at 9.30pm on Sky Channel 200.

Sunderland’s Kirk Goodings, 7-1 (1), hasn’t fought at home since 2010. The 23-year-old (pictured) will make a welcome return to fighting in the region when he steps in against Dewsbury’s durable Youssef Al Hamidi. Check out Kirk’s video interview with Sky Tyne and Wear

Northern Area lightweight champ, Gary Fox, 10-1 (2), comes in off the back of an impressive first round KO of Tottenham’s Mark McKray last time out (15 Feb 2013) and will be looking to get more rounds under his belt this time around. Check out Gary’s video interview.

Young pro Tommy Ward, brother of English bantamweight champion Martin, is currently 3-0 (1).  The 18-year-old is highly-rated and slated to take on decent journeyman Pavels Senkovs as he continues to learn his trade.  Watch Tommy’s interview.

Unbeaten Anthony Nelson looks a very good prospect and has impressed in his 5-0 (1) career to date.  The South Shields fighter, part of the Mal Gates stable, has terrific punch variety and work rate, and doesn’t allow opponents to settle for a second.  Listen to Babyface’svideo interview.

The evening will be a memorable one for Chris Bennett.  The 24-year-old, trained by former European lightweight title challenger Paul Charters, makes his debut on the show and will hope to get off to a winning start against well-travelled journeyman, Billy Smith.  Watch Chris’ interview.

Chief support comes in the shape of Sunderland’s Glenn Foot versus Wales’ Jason ‘The Power’ Cook, while the rest of the undercard features talent from across the North East including Sunderland’s Danny Hughes; Hartlepool’s Callum Winton, and Middlesbrough’s Paul Truscott and Shafiq ‘Chubzy’ Asif.
