Mayweather Jr Is Set For Career Highest Payday


The world’s best pound for pound boxer Floyd "Money" Mayweather is set to earn the biggest payday of his entire undefeated career, when he fights Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in Las Vegas on September 14.

 

It is estimated that Floyd could earn about 90 million USD for the fight against Alvarez at the MGM Grand Garden.

 

This math data has been released by Forbes magazine. It says the probable 1.5 million PPV’s will generate 105 million USD of which 50 will go under contract to Mayweather.

 

Besides the PPV income, the eight time world champion has a guarantee of 40 million USD for the fight just for stepping into the ring.
