Current WBC welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather is hinting that the end of his career may be near but he will still put on a show when challenges Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez for the WBC light middleweight crown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 14.
The undefeated pound for pound king expects this fight to shatter all ppv records, after his last fight with Robert Guerrero performed modestly at the box office:
“I’m ready to execute a great fight and entertain the people. That’s what this is all about. I’m older now, so I have to display the very best of myself in these next fights," said Mayweather Jr
Floyd also conveyed this might be one of the last fights of his career, even though at thirty six, he’s boxing as well as ever.
