English boxer Danny McIntosh claimed the vacant European light-heavywieght title in Levallois-Perret, France earlier tonight when he scored an 11th round tko win over hometown favourite Thierry Karl
Karl was coasting towards victory and on the verge of a stoppage win against the Norwich based Englishman when McIntosh delivered a massive punch to shake Karl to his boots in the 11th round, prompting the referee to intervene and stop the fight.
McIntosh improves to, 13-1-(7),Karl falls to 28-5-(18)
