Former three time world champion Cristian Mijares will attempt to win his second world title in different divisions on April 20 when he faces Victor Terrazas for the vacant WBC super-bantamweight title in Mexico City.
Terrazas is currently the WBC silver champion.
The entire card will be promoted by Zanfer at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico.
The title was vacated by Abner Mares, who has now moved up to the featherweight division. Fernando Beltran announced the fight during a press conference held on Wednesday in Mexico where he was accompanied by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
Young prospect Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez will also feature on the card.
