Miranda Retains Flyweight Crown


WBO flyweight champion Julio Cesar “Pingo” Miranda, 33-5-1-(26). Retained his title against Ronald Ramos, 29-9-3-(15), via eighth round tko in Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday night.

The champion was in control of the fight right up until Ramos remained on his stool before the start of round nine.
On the undercard super flyweight Hugo Ruiz, 26-1-(25), floored Jesús Vázquez twice, but was forced to go the 10 round distance for the first time in his career
