Former multi weight world champion Shane Mosley is reportedly in the frame to face Amir Khan in December.
Despite being 41 years old and having fought professionally for the best part of 20 years Mosley still believes he has what it takes to defeat a young and in his prime Amir Khan, should the fight happen.
“If it does happen that I get to fight Khan, then there will be problems for him,” Mosley told Ring TV. “If it leads to [Floyd] Mayweather, then I’m all for it. Amir Khan’s height won’t be much of a factor at 147 as it was at 140…I can knock him out. Age won’t be a factor, as you saw in my last fight.”
If the fight does happen it will be at 147lbs. Mosley last fought back in May, out-pointing Pablo Cesar Cano over 12 rounds. Prior to defeating Cano, Mosley had won just one of his last five fights.
